June–July

Squirrel Scavenger Hunt – During the week of June 29-July 3, we’re hiding 250 black squirrels throughout Marysville. Find one and bring it into the library for a prize!

(Pub)lic Library Crawl – Visit local libraries, including Marysville Public Library, all summer to ask your unique questions, explore libraries, and have chances to win awesome prizes!

Letters for Troops – Come and write a postcard or a letter to the troops and show your support for their service!

Weekly Programs

Mondays at 5:30 p.m. — Next Level Journaling. First 20 participants get a free small journal! Programs runs until the end of July.

Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. — Summer Library Program for 3–5-year-olds (through the end of June).

Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. — Summer Library Program for babies–34 months (through the end of June).

One-Time Programs

June 1 at 6 p.m. — Books Are Great Book Club, discussing Horse by Geraldine Brooks. Books are available with a valid library card.

June 5 at 10 a.m. — The Summer Library Program for ages 6-13 kicks off with “Operation: Hatch” followed by our presenter, “Dinosaur Dimensions,” at 11 a.m.

June 11 at 12:15 p.m. — Young Adult Books for Adults Book Club, discussions TheWee Free Men by Terry Prachett. Books are available now with a valid library card.

June 11 — New Community Narrative Podcast drops, featuring Chad Kramer

June 11 — Adult Summer Library Program: Prehistoric Plant Swap. Bring plants for swapping and learn about the history of plants on this planet!

June 12 at 6 p.m. — Teen Summer Library Program: Laser Tag!

June 13 at 10:30 a.m. — Summer Library Program for ages 6-13: Tea with T-Rex!

June 17 at 1 p.m. — Summer Library Program for ages 6-13: Din-Olympics!

June 23 at 1 p.m. — Summer Library Program for ages 6-13: Sunny-saurus Studio!

June 24 at 5:15 p.m. — Marysville Public Library Board Meeting

June 25 at 5:30 p.m. — Adult Summer Library Program: Bedazzling Books! You bring the book, we provide the bedazzling tools.

June 29 at 5:30 p.m. — Local history night 

June 30 at 1 p.m. — “To the Future, Ben Franklin!” book party for ages 6-13
