Complete with statuary, fine china dishes, and opulent furnishings, the Koester House Museum in Marysville, Kansas, serves as an example of how a German immigrant, arriving in America at the age of 7, became a prominent businessman without a formal education.

One Delightful Life

We explored the Koester House Museum & Garden and can’t wait to go back! This beautifully preserved Victorian mansion was home to Sylvia and Charles Koester, a prominent Marysville family with an incredible love story.
