The Art of Manufacturing

Manufacturing is more than machines—it’s people, skill and creativity. The Art of Manufacturing pairs contemporary photography with historic images to show industry from the inside out, focusing on the craft within the process rather than just the finished product.

The exhibition brings together Boston-based photographer Brad Romano and Blue Rapids’ Tom Parker, who turned their lenses on Landoll Company employees at work—measuring, welding, shaping and assembling—alongside selections from the Marshall County Historical Society that trace the industries that helped build our community. Together, the images reveal the rhythm and ingenuity at the heart of manufacturing.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Marshall County Arts Cooperative, Landoll Company and the Marshall County Historical Society.
