Revitalize or Die with Jeff Siegler

Join us for a rare opportunity to transform Marysville from the inside-out. During the week of March 23, Marysville will host Jeff Siegler, author, consultant and founder of Revitalize or Die. Jeff is known for bringing revolutionary ideas to communities across the country, helping residents rebuild civic pride, raise standards and turn their cities into places people want to live. Whether you are a long-time community member, a new resident, a small business owner, a leader in a local church or civic organization, or someone who is simply curious about how to get more involved in the community, the week is full of sessions that will be informative and make a lasting impact.

All events are free, no registration required. (Sign-up is required for the lunch option during the community kickoff on Monday, March 23.)

Monday, March 23

Community Kickoff: Civic Pride & Civic Apathy 2.0 | 12–1 p.m. | Venue 36
Be part of the future of Marysville during this engaging kickoff session. All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend! Lunch option, $15 per person. Must sign up by 3/19. Roundtable for Small Business Owners | 6–8 p.m. | Crownover Auto Showroom
We invite you to join a roundtable conversation about the future of our local businesses — the challenges, the opportunities, and what could help our economy grow. This is a chance to share your ideas, connect with other business owners and help shape efforts that support local businesses and strengthen our community. (Two sessions available.)

Join us for Happy Hour as we welcome special guest, Jeff Siegler. Meet and mingle with other young professionals and get a chance to speak one-on-one with Jeff. It will be an evening with great drinks and even better conversation!

Roundtable for Civic Organizations | 8–10 a.m. | 721 Broadway
When people care about their town and work together, it creates positive change for everyone. This discussion will focus on how civic groups, community leaders, and volunteers can make a lasting difference. We hope you’ll join us to share ideas, connect with others who care about Marysville, and be a part of making our community an even better place to live.

Open Community Forum | 12–1 p.m. | 809 Broadway
An open session for anyone with ideas, a desire to get involved, an issue to address or just wondering where to start. If you’re curious about where Marysville is headed and how you can be part of it, this session is for you!

Thursday, March 26

Community Clean-up | 12:30–2:30 p.m. | Downtown Marysville
What better way to show pride in our community than to come together and make it shine! Join us as we wrap up the week with a community-wide clean up event. Meet at the OneMarysville office, 617 Broadway.

About Jeff Siegler

Jeff Siegler is an urbanist, author, and consultant who spends his days helping communities stop settling for mediocrity. Founder of Revitalize or Die, he works with towns across the country to rebuild civic pride, raise standards, and create places people actually want to live. A former Main Street director, State Main Street Coordinator and now an elected commissioner in Mt. Lebanon, Jeff has spent two decades preaching the gospel that our built environment shapes our well-being.
