The Frankfort community will be hosting their annual Summerfest celebration on Saturday, June 27, 2026. In celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday, the 2026 Summerfest will have a patriotic theme of “Frankfort Freedom Fest.” Shirts can be purchased at Jane+Elaine Boutique in Frankfort.
Schedule of Activities
- 8 a.m. – Farmers Market
- 10 a.m. – Cornhole tournament registration opens
- 11 a.m. – Parade in downtown Frankfort
- Lunch – Served by the Frankfort Community Care Home in the shelter house
- 12–4 p.m. – Inflatables and PAT water play
- 1 p.m. – Turtle and frog races
- 1–5 p.m. – Free swimming at Frankfort Pool; 50/50 duck race at 2 p.m.
- 3–5 p.m. – Bingo sponsored by the United Methodist Church
- Dinner – Served by the Sons of the American Legion
- 5:30 p.m. – Pedal tractor pull (registration begins at 5 p.m.)
- 6–10 p.m. – Mechanical bull riding and An American Maze (last hour for adults only)
- 8 p.m. – Live music by Dallas Pryor and the Lazy Wayne Band
- Fireworks show at dusk
The Frankfort Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a beer garden throughout the day.
Vendors are welcome to set up in the park anytime throughout the day and there is no booth fee, although a donation to the Summerfest Fund is appreciated.
