Astro 3 Theatre

The Astro 3 Theatre is a three-screen movie theatre in downtown Marysville, now upgraded with state-of-the-art laser projectors for an even sharper, more immersive movie experience. It’s the perfect place to catch the latest blockbuster or a family favorite, complete with fresh popcorn, comfortable seating and a classic small-town vibe.

The Astro’s story stretches back over a century. The building was originally constructed in 1912 as a Christian Athletic Hall, featuring a gymnasium, swimming pool and walking track. It later became the Isis Theatre in the 1920s and, in 1970, was transformed into the Astro Theatre by longtime theater owner Dick Smith. Expanded and modernized over the years, the Astro has stayed true to its roots—offering a welcoming place for generations of moviegoers to experience the magic of the big screen.

Today, the Astro 3 Theatre continues its tradition of delivering premier films to Marysville and the surrounding area—where history, hometown charm and cutting-edge technology come together for an unforgettable night at the movies.
