About OneMarysville

OneMarysville is a collaboration between Marysville Chamber & Main Street and Marysville Convention & Tourism. Our vision is to create a thriving, connected, and vibrant community. With four core committees each tackling unique challenges, we are paving the way for growth and engagement in Marysville.

Our Focus Areas

Promotion

The Promotions Committee is putting Marysville on the map by highlighting its unique events and attractions. With the launch of OneMarysville, they’re preparing for a strong start, including community initiatives like Black Squirrels on Parade and seasonal campaigns. They’ve also discussed billboard advertising and the potential for exciting new events, such as food truck nights and expanded Discover Downtown evenings. This group is all about showcasing Marysville’s character and ensuring that every event leaves a lasting impression.

Organization

The Organization Committee is the backbone of OneMarysville, managing finances, partnerships, and volunteer coordination. They’ve secured funding through guest tax revenue and are working to ensure smooth operations as OneMarysville launches. By fostering collaboration between volunteers and businesses, this committee helps align efforts across all initiatives. Their focus on partnerships and operational stability ensures the entire program continues to thrive.

Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality Committee is building the foundation for sustained growth. They’ve introduced initiatives like Lunch Bunch and Wake Up Wednesday to foster connections and spark fresh ideas among businesses. A resource toolkit for business owners is in the works, covering everything from mentorship programs to accounting, legal, and marketing resources. This committee is also planning the upcoming OneMarysville Business Development Workshops featuring topics like marketing, leadership, and customer experience. The goal? To energize the community and provide tools for success.

Design

The Design Committee is focused on enhancing Marysville’s historic charm and functionality. Recent efforts include updating signage, awning, and mural guidelines to better reflect the historic district’s character. They’ve also reviewed a Request for Proposals to secure state approval for historic district projects, with key review meetings set for 2025. Streetscape improvements, education for business owners, and realtor partnerships are on their radar, aiming to strengthen and implement guidelines effectively. Additionally, the committee is exploring innovative ideas like a local walking map and “walking adventures” to connect historical sites and create unique experiences for residents and visitors.

Business Resources

Strong local businesses are the heart of a prosperous community. We’re committed to supporting entrepreneurs and business owners with the resources they need to succeed.
